It is powerfully inspiring to read and hear about folks who would "Never Give Up" when often emotionally as well as financially devastated.
I recently wrote an article titled "Consumer Credit Tips - You Might Have a Personal Credit Crisis. It's a bit of a take off from Jeff Foxworthy's sketch on "You may be a Redneck if...", and received some interesting comments.
The article points to some of the early warning signs of what could potentially be a serious credit crisis in our own family situation.
Since this entire site is about sharing and helping readers focus and attack their debt problems one step at a time, we thought that letting you share your stories could also offer some relief.
Even though debt problems are a serious matter, we can often find some humor in the midst of our anxiety.
There are numerous versions of the cartoon: "Never Give Up" but this is the version I personally like best. The frog, despite his small size and impending demise, has his hands in a vice grip around the pelican's neck to keep from becoming swallowed.
Isn't that the way it is, as we struggle to pay off debt or manage our money each month? When credit card debt or imminent home foreclosure has a grip on our lives, it is not the time to give up! Get a vice grip around the neck of your debt. Don't get swallowed up by it. It is time to put a plan in place. Map out ideas and directions that will prevent you from being swallowed up by debt.
You can share YOUR ideas, and inspiring stories and tips ... about surviving a credit crisis. It's about that simple philosophy of "paying it forward". If you have a story or tip, you can share it right here as well.

He was subsequently defeated in every election for public office until he became Prime Minister at the age of 62.
He later wrote, "Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never, Never, Never, Never give up."
